In September, I will be hiking 26.6 miles in one day across the terrain of the Catoctin Trail in Western Maryland to raise money for Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic. 71% of adult former wish kids believe the wish experience contributed to saving their lives. While more than 15,300 wishes were granted across the United States last year alone, this reached only half of the eligible children diagnosed with a critical illness.
The wish process is a way to honor the difficult journey that the kids are experiencing and the courage they’ve shown to face it. It’s a life-affirming process that enriches the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
By donating to my page you are joining in my efforts to help the 600 children in the Mid-Atlantic region who are waiting for their wishes to come true. Any amount you can contribute helps.
